Baby Trill

Baby Trill from class with Melanie Tuazon. Fabric from mass drop. Straight line quilting. Size 37 x 42 1/2 inches.

Flower Baby Quilt

This baby charity quilt is 55 1/2 x 42 1/2 inches. It has embroidered panels from Bev.

Fat Quarter Jelly Roll Race

I wanted to try the Jelly Roll Race technique for this charity quilt. I took a bundle of Mass Drop fat quarters and cut them into 2-1/2 inches strips and followed the rules for the race. I wanted a crib size quilt so when it was about 52 inches wide I ripped off the extra strips and sewed them to the bottom to extend the width.

I didn't count how many fat quarters I used, but I used one fat quarter and trimmed down the leftover strips to make the border. The finish quilt is 38-1/2 x 51 inches.

New Bee 2016 Quilt

My finished New Bee Quilt is 34x44 inches. I machine quilted it with variegated thread and had a lot of issues with skipped stitches. :(
