Vogue 2383 - Mr. Clara's Jacket

It is Nutcracker season again. When dancing daughters move on so do the dancing Dads. A new Mr. Clara is making his dancing debut and new jacket is required. He has a lovely scarlet Christmas velvet jacket.

Lady Faye, the dress form, is making a shabby show since the jacket is a size 48 and she is not.

Mr. Clara's fitting was a success as he said he would be able to his big scene, the fake foot trip with an armload of packages, with ease.

Here it is flat on the ground. I should have taken a close up of the button. It was an ugly blue one from my Grandma's stash painted gold with Christmas magic.

October Quilt Bee Block - Liberated Star

For October's Bee challenge Lee choose a Liberated Star block using Kaffe Fasset scraps and solid black. The black makes the bright Kaffe Fasset print pop out. The "challenge" of this block is that the star points vary. The direction she gave were very easy to follow. With varying size points which way is up? One block - 4 looks.
